| INFO IN ENGLISH | CESIE is a European centre of studies and initiatives established in 2001, inspired by the work and theories of sociologist Danilo Dolci (1924-1997). CESIE has transferred many key aspects of Danilo Dolci’s work into its own educational activities including the Reciprocal Maieutic Approach (a popular dialectic methodology of research and self-analysis) created and tested by Dolci for many years. We base our work on: CESIE’S Migration Unit specifically aims to centralise and connect all the activities carried out by CESIE, aimed at the target groups of asylum seekers, refugees, and migrants of all ages (children, youngsters, adults). The overall objective is to develop effective and inclusive approaches for the target groups. Therefore, the unit tries to increase the impact on the beneficiaries, to offer structured paths of integration and social inclusion among young people, foreigners, and local young people as well as to activate learning paths based on the training needs of migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers, no matter what age. Non-formal methodologies are used in the majority of activities, as these turn out to be the most appropriate to the needs of the target group. |
| INFO IN ITALIAN | Il CESIE è un centro studi e iniziative europeo fondato nel 2001 e ispirato al lavoro e alle teorie del sociologo Danilo Dolci (1924-1997). Il CESIE ha trasferito molti aspetti chiave del lavoro di Danilo Dolci nelle proprie attività educative, tra cui l’Approccio Maieutico Reciproco (metodologia dialettica di indagine e di autoanalisi popolare) creato e testato da Dolci per molti anni. Il nostro lavoro si fonda su: • ricerca sulle necessità e le sfide sociali • utilizzo di approcci di apprendimento innovativi per rispondere a queste necessità. In questo modo, il CESIE collega attivamente la ricerca con l’azione attraverso l’utilizzo di metodologie di apprendimento formale e non-formale, che includono: • L’Approccio Maieutico reciproco definito da Danilo Dolci come “processo di esplorazione collettiva che considera l’esperienza degli individui e l’intuizione come punto di riferimento” • Tecniche di Pensiero Creativo che stimolano la generazione di idee, problem-solving e la capacità di pensare fuori dalla scatola individualmente e in gruppo Crediamo nell’educazione che alimenta la crescita economica. L’educazione quindi promuove il benessere individuale e lo sviluppo economico delle società, stimolando l’innovazione e l’imprenditoria.
L’unità Migrazione in particolare ha l’obiettivo di coordinare e mettere assieme tutte le attività promosse dal CESIE destinate ai gruppi target dei richiedenti asilo, dei rifugiati e migranti di tutte le età (bambini, giovani, adulti) al fine di sviluppare approcci efficaci e inclusivi. A questo scopo, l’unità lavora affinché le proprie attività incidano realmente sulla vita dei beneficiari offrendo percorsi strutturati finalizzati all’integrazione e all’inclusione sociale dei giovani di origine straniera e non, ed attivando dei corsi di formazione basati sui bisogni di apprendimento di migranti, rifugiati e richiedenti asilo di ogni età. Le attività sono ispirate, per lo più, a metodologie non formali, dal momento che queste sembrano rispondere meglio alle esigenze del gruppo target.
