ASTA – Association of Theater and Other Arts presents the children’s show “Os Lusíadas – Animated Conference”, a co-production with António Abernú and Magda Dimas, which takes place on February 8 at 16.00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., at Escola EB 2, 3 of Teixoso. The Lusíadas – Animated Conference, is a theater show, animated forms and video where in a fun, dynamic and contemporary way, we can follow the trip of Vasco da Gama and his navy to India. Two lecturers, Dra. Lusía and Prof. Das, present a history with centuries of existence on the valor of the Portuguese people in their odyssey by the seas, never before navigated.
All the fantastic atmosphere of this work will be realized through masks, manipulation and animation of small boats and dolls representing the crew and the Lusitanian navy.
A planisphere aquarium serves as scenery and animation to the spectacle that is accompanied by images and documental videos, explanatory of the entire history of the Lusíadas of Luís Vaz de Camões.
